1981: Senior Season
In his final year as a Husker, Lindquist totalled 30 tackles with 22 of them being unassisted...intercepted three passes in his final season...earned All-Big Eight honors...was named Academic All-American and Academic All-Big Eight in 1981.

1980: Junior Season
In 1980 as a junior starter, he had 25 tackles, including 17 unassisted, three passes intercepted and four others broken up while playing 263 minutes...his best efforts were against Utah, Missouri and Mississippi State in the Sun Bowl...against Utah, he had four tackles and one interception...against the Tigers, he had three tackles and two pass break ups and against MSU, he had three tackles and one sack and one pass intercepted...Ric earned first-team Academic All-Big Eight and second-team Academic All-American honors in 1980.

1979: Sophomore Season
In 1979, Lindquist had 45 tackles, including 26 unassisted, three passes intercepted and six passes broken up...against Kansas State,  a game the Huskers won 21-12, Lindquist tied a Nebraska single-game mark by intercepting three passes against KSU's Darrell Dickey...also had good efforts against Missouri (10 tackles) and in the Cotton Bowl against Houston (eight tackles and one pass broken up).

1978: Reshirted
Redshirted in 1978 after spending 1977 on the freshman team.

1977: Freshman Season
Spent 1977 on the freshman team playing right cornerback.
