1980 (Senior)

Finn was the starting tight end for the Huskers in 1980. He caught 20 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns. Finn was awarded Honorable Mention All Big 8 honors and a $2000 post graduate scholarship from the National Collegiate Athletic Association. He signed during the summer as a free agent for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

1979 (Junior)

Finn caught 5 passes for 61 yards his junior season and finished with one touchdown. The score came on a six yard, fourth quarter pass from Jeff Quinn in the Cotton Bowl against Houston, to give the Huskers a temporary 14-10 lead.

1978 (Sophomore)

Finn did not make the three-deep chart going into fall camp but was No. 2 before the first game against Alabama. He finished the season with three catches for 38 yards and no touchdowns.

1977 (Freshman)

Finn played in the freshman team his first season with the Huskers.

Before Nebraska (Grand Island HS)

Finn was an all-state performer on offense and at defensive end. He was also all-state two years in basketball and earned nine letters total.

Personal

Jeff is the son of Dean and Donna Finn. He was born on Nov. 16, 1958. Jeff was a Pre-Law major.
