1977: Senior Season
In his final season as a Husker, Harvey earned honorable-mention All-American and second-team All-Big Eight honors...intercepted two passes returning them for a total of 57 yards...racked up 56 tackles, including 24 unassisted...recorded two tackles for a loss and broke up seven passes...a standout in the classroom, Harvey also earned first-team Academic All-American and Academic All-Big Eight.
1976: Junior Season
Harvey was the leading tackler in the secondary, with 57 total, including 35 unassisted...he also recovered three fumbles, intercepted two passes, and broke up five others...Harvey blocked a punt against Texas Tech in the Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl...excellent off the field, earning Academic All-American and Academic All-Big Eight honors.
1975: Sophomore Season
In 1975, Harvey racked up 13 tackles, including 11 unassisted tackles...had one tackle for a loss, resulting in a loss of one yard...was back up to David Butterfield.
1974: Freshman Season
Spent his freshman season starring for the freshman team at cornerback.
