At Nebraska
Solid All-America and All-Big 8 choice for the Huskers in ’74. Teamed with Mark Doak, to give Nebraska one fine pair of tackles. Crenshaw was a three year starter and three year letterman. Was an outstanding lead-blocker after pulling and liked to downfield block. Was also a great pass pro lineman.

At the end of his junior year, “Movin’ Marvin” was tabbed for membership in the University’s Innocents Society, the men’s honorary. Marvin spent lots of time working with youngest who needed guidance and inspiration. One of his projects was planting a garden for kids so they could see how plants grow.

Before Nebraska (Woodward High in Toledo)

All-City and All-City Academic in football and basketball. Marvin was coached under Sonny Smith at Woodward.
