2006 (Senior)

Fullback Will Otto joined the <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Nebraska program in the spring of 2005 after previously playing at FullertonCollege in California. Otto supplied depth at fullback in both 2005 and 2006, but did not see game action. Otto spent two seasons at FullertonCollege in California before coming to Nebraska. He majored in sociology and was one of 13 Huskers who completed their degree work prior to Nebraska’s appearance in the Cotton Bowl. <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

2005 (Junior)

Otto was a reserve fullback, but did not see game action.

Before Nebraska (Troy HS/Fullerton College)
Otto spent two seasons at Fullerton College before coming to Nebraska. He rushed for 800 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior at Troy High School and also recorded four sacks and 80 tackles as a defensive end. He lettered all four years and was named a team captain, and also earned second-team all-league honors and the Desire and Dedication Award, while helping with the Special Olympics all four years. At Fullerton Junior College, Otto’s team was Mission Conference, State Final Four and Beach Bowl Champions. He was also a team captain for Fullerton.

Personal

The son of Bill and Margaret Otto, Will was born on Oct. 5, 1983. He is majoring in sociology.
