Career
Trent Gumm joined the Huskers in 1995 as a walk-on tight end. He saw action in three games in 1995 and two games in 1996. His lone assisted tackle came his sophomore year. Following the 1996 season, Gumm decided to pursue other interests. He left as a member of the 1995 national championship team.

Gumm played football for Columbus High in Columbus, Nebraska.
