1978 (Senior)
Steve's success on the field earned him first team All-Big Eight and second team All-American Honors along with a place in the NFl draft (Miami Dolphins, 162nd Overall). Steve helped the Huskers to 328.8 rushing yards per game and 37.0 points per game. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and an appearance in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma.
1977 (Junior)
Lindquist started at right guard and earned second team All-Big Eight honors. Steve doubled as a furious kick and punt coverage performer, always being the first down the field. He helped the Huskers to 294.5 rushing yards per game. He helped the Huskers finish with a 9-3 record and a Liberty Bowl win against North Carolina, 21-17.
1976 (Sophomore)
Steve was a reserve offensive lineman behind Greg Jorgensen. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3-1 record and an Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl win over Texas Tech, 27-24.

Steve was an All-State and All-Conference performer. He is the son of Richard and Jeanne Lindquist. Steve had brief stints in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers.
