Steve Glenn Season 1978

1978 (Senior)
Glenn was the No. 2 right tackle in 1978, behind starter Tom Orht. Glenn helped the Huskers to the second ranked rushing offense in the Big Eight (337.7 ypg), just behind Oklahoma and the best overall offense with 501.4 yards per game. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and an appearance in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma.

1977 (Junior)
Steve earned a letter as a reserve offensive tackle. Steve helped the Huskers to 302.5 rushing yards per game and 415.4 total yards per game, first in the Big Eight. He helped Nebraska to a 10-2 finish and a Cotton Bowl appearance against Houston in 1979.

1976 (Sophomore)
Glenn was a varsity reserve as Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3-1 record and an Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl win over Texas Tech, 27-24.

1975 (Redshirt)
Steve redshirted his second season as a Husker. 

1974 (Freshman)
Glenn was a walkon in 1974, as he played with the freshman team. 

Pawnee City High School (Pawnee City, Neb.)
Steve earned All-City State football and basketball honors under Coach Denton Stitt. He was majoring in business and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christensen.
