Honors & Awards

  • Member of 1994 Nebraska National Championship Team 

1994 (Freshman)
Noster earned a varsity letter for Nebraska’s 1994 national championship team. Noster appeared in five games, finishing with five total tackles, three of which were unassisted. The Huskers defeated Miami 24-17 in the Federal Express Orange Bowl to claim the school’s first national title since 1971. The Big Red went undefeated and captured its third consecutive Big Eight championship.  

1993 (Redshirt)
Noster Redshirted his first season as a Husker.

John Marshall High School
Noster was a top 100 recruit out of the state of Texas, and was a two-time all-district pick and earned honorable-mention all-state honors as a senior. In 1992, Noster had 93 tackles in eight games for Coach David Vistentine. He also intercepted two passes and had four pass breakups to go along with two forced fumbles. His last two years he had a total of 241 tackles and 10 quarterback sacks,
