Scott Kimball Season 1984

1984 (Senior)

Three-year letterman as a wide receiver for the Huskers caught 11 passes as a senior for 157 yards. Kimbal would catch two of those passes for 48 yards in the loss against Oklahoma 17-7.

1983 (Junior)

Scott would split time as a junior with Ricky Simmons. Even while splitting game time with Simmons, Kimball would rank second on the team behind All-American Irving Fryar with 207 receiving yards. His career high was four passes caught for 49 yards against Syracuse. Kimbal would also have a lone touchdown against Iowa State.

1982 (Sophomore)

Kimball would not make any game appearances this season. Labeled as a reserve for most of the season.

1981 (Redshirt) 

Scott Kimball would redshirt in his second season with the Huskers in 1981

1980 (Freshman)

A 1980 recruit, Scott would catch five passes for 94 yards, one touchdown, averaged 40.3 yards on six punts for the 5-0 Husker freshman team. 

Personal

Son of Everett and Faye Kimball, Scott Kimball was born on Dec. 14, 1961, in Camarillo, Calif. He has a brother Bobby Kimball, who played split end for Oklahoma in 1977, 1978. Outstanding receiver for three years for Coach Ken Wagner at Camarillo High School. Scott was an Math education major.
