Roger Lindstrom Season 1985

1985 (Senior)
Lindstrom got his chance to start as a senior, In May of 1985 Roger had a pin placed in his shoulder to repair a dislocation but the pin came loose in the season opener against Florida State. He continued to play then had surgery the next day. He was back in the starting lineup for the Huskers against Illinois. He finished the season with four rushes for 18 yards, and caught three passes for 59 yards. 

1984 (Junior)
Lindstrom was a reserve again, he saw enough playing time to earn a letter and rushed once for three yards in Nebraska's 28-10 Sugar Bowl win over LSU. 

1983 (Sophomore)
Roger was a non-lettered reserve on the 1983 varsity and had one rushing attempt for 11 yards. 

1982 (Redshirt)
Roger redshirted his second season at Nebraska. 

1981 (Freshman)
Lindstrom came to Nebraska without a scholarship in 1981 and was the alternate wingback behind Shane Swanson on the 5-0 Husker freshman team, catching three passes for 59 yards, rushing four times for 25 yards and returning four kickoffs for 107 yards. 

Oakland-Craig High School
Roger was an All-state and two-time all-conference pick as a running back and linebacker for Coach Clarence Gorake. He was a fourth place medal winner in the 1981 state wrestling tournament and also qualified in state track. 

Personal
Roger was an agriculture major and is the son of Bob and Marlene Lindstrom. He has two brothers and was born in May of 1963 in Oakland.
