Rod Reynolds Season 1985

1985 (Senior)
Reynolds appeared in four games his senior year, recording just one tackle and one interception during the Kansas game, which saw the Huskers defeating the Jayhawks in a 56-6 blowout win. 

1984 (Junior)
In 1984, Rod appeared in three games and was credited with three tackles, all unassisted but did not letter. Nebraska finished the season with a 10-2 record and a win  in the 1985 Sugar Bowl against LSU with the final score of 28-10. 

1983 (Sophomore)
As a sophomore reserve defensive tackle, he was in on six tackles and saw enough playing time to earn a letter. 

1982 (Redshirt)
Rod redshirted his second season at Nebraska. 

1981 (Freshman)
Reynolds came to Nebraska without a scholarship in 1981, and was a reserve defensive tackle on the 5-0 Husker freshman team which only allowed 15 points all season.

Lexington High (Lexington, Nebraska)
Rod was a two time all-conference in football, basketball and track, where he played offensive and defensive tackle for Coach Dennis Thorell who lettered as  defensive back for the Huskers in 1965 and 1966.

Rod was an agriculture education major and is the son of Norman and Shirley Reynolds.
