Robert Hill Season 1966

1966 (Senior) 

Robert was a two time letterman reserve center for the Cornhuskers during his senior season. Mostly used as a reserve behind All Big Eight center Kelly Petersen. Hill was a part of the Nebraska team that lost in the 1967 Sugar bowl against Bear Bryant’s Alabama, 7-34. 

1965 (Junior)
Hill was a lettered squadman for his efforts during his junior season. Coaches saw rapid improvement in Robert’s duties and gave him a letterman for this season. Hill would see some action during punt snapping. Hill was apart of the cornhusker team that would go  10-1, win a Big Eight title and a trip to the 1966 Orange Bowl against Bear Bryant's 

1964 (Sophomore)

Robert spent most of his sophomore year as a reserve player for the team. Mainly being used for practice and helping punt snap.

1963 (Freshman)

Hill played on the Frosh team for the Huskers. Playing as center and both guards for the team.

Personal

Son of Richard Hill, Bob Hill was born in East St. Louis, Illinois. Hill enrolled at NU as an education major.
