1989 (Senior)
Leuck was listed as the No. three offensive right guard, behind John Roschal and Bill Bobbora. Nonetheless Leuck still earned his first varsity letter as a Husker. He helped the Cornhuskers to a 10–2 record and earn a berth in the Fiesta Bowl against Florida State. Leuck helped Nebraska lead the Big-Eight in rushing offense (375.3 ypg), scoring offense (44.7 ppg), and total offense (513.3 ypg).
1988 (Junior)
Leuck was a non-lettered reserve at offensive guard, after switching from linebacker in the spring. He helped the Cornhuskers post an 11–2 record and earn a berth in the Orange Bowl against Miami.
1987 (Sophomore)
Leuck was a reserve weak-side linebacker. His help as a reserve assisted the Huskers to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the Fiesta Bowl against Florida State.
1986 (Redshirt)
Leuck redshirted his second season at Nebraska.
1985 (Freshman)
After walking-on Leuck was the alternate strong-side linebacker on Coach Dan Young’s 5-0 freshman team, backing-up future two-time All-Big eight selection, LeRoy Etienne. He finished with thirteen total tackles, an interception with a nine yard return, two pass break-ups along with a fumble recovery.
Omaha Gross High School
Leuck excelled as a fullback, linebacker, and punter for Coach Stan Macaitis at Omaha Gross. He earned All-Metro honors and received honorable mention All-State recognition for his contributions on both sides of the ball.
Personal
Rob was a restaurant management major and he is the son of Bernie and Frances Leuck.
