Randy Rick

1977 (Senior)
Randy was the Huskers’ No. 2 right defensive end in ‘77. He recorded 15 total tackles, five unassisted and blocked a punt. The Huskers finished with a 9-3 record and a Liberty Bowl win against North Carolina, 21-17.

1976 (Junior)
Rick had four total tackles, including one behind the line for a loss of 11 yards. Randy helped Nebraska finish the season with a 9-3-1 record and an Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl win over Texas Tech, 27-24.

1975 (Waldorf Junior College)
Randy sat out the ‘75 season after transferring to Nebraska from Waldorf Junior College in Forest City, Iowa. Randy earned All-American Junior College Honors under Coach Dave Bolstroff. 

Hempstead High School (Dubuque, Ia.)
Randy was an outstanding high school football player as a halfback and linebacker under Coach Roger Baylor. He was majoring in physical education and is the son of Mrs. Marie Nagelmaker.
