Randy Florell

1980 (Senior)
Florell was the Huskers No. 3 strongside linebacker. He earned his first varsity letter as a Husker. Nebraska finished the season with a Sun Bowl win against Mississippi State (31-17). 

1979 (Junior)
Randy was a reserve linebacker for the 1979 Huskers. He helped Nebraska to a Cotton Bowl appearance against Houston and a 10-2 record.

1978 (Sophomore)
Randy played linebacker for the 1978 Husker varsity squad. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and an appearance in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma.

1977 (Redshirt)
Florell redshirted his second season at Nebraska. 

1976 (Freshman)
Randy played linebacker and middle guard for the Nebraska freshman team. 

Holdrege High School
Under Coach Ted Mills, he earned All-State football honors as a linebacker. He also lettered in basketball and baseball. He was majoring in business education and is the son of Edward and Irene Florell.
