Paul Potadle Season 1979

1979 (Senior)
Potadle lettered as an alternate right guard behind Randy Schleusener and was a fine special teams performer. Paul was a key factor to the Huskers rushing attack, helping them to 327.3 yards per game. He helped Nebraska to a 10-2 finish and a Cotton Bowl appearance against Houston in 1979. 

1978 (Junior)
Paul missed most of the 1978 season with a knee injury which he later had surgery on. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and an appearance in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma.

1977 (Sophomore)
Potadle was a reserve lineman for the Huskers. Paul helped the Huskers finish with a 9-3 record and a Liberty Bowl win against North Carolina, 21-17. 

1976 (Redshirt)
Paul redshirted his second season as a Husker.

1975 (Freshman)
Potadle played with the Husker freshman team. 

Tekameh-Herman High school
Paul played high school football at Tekamah-Herman and is the son of Keith and Norma Potadle. He was majoring in finance in business administration.
