Before Nebraska (Buford HS/LSU)
Paul Mubenga spent three seasons at LSU before transferring to Nebraska. Mubenga played in 20 games with 11 starts as a Tiger, all at left guard.
Mubenga played in 10 games with six starts as a sophomore in 2025. In 2024, Mubenga played in 10 games and started the final five games of the season at left guard. LSU allowed only 15 sacks in 2024, a total that led the SEC and ranked 17th nationally. Mubenga redshirted in 2023 and did not play in a game.
Mubenga did not begin playing football until high school. He moved to the United States in 2017 and attended Buford High School in Georgia. A three-star prospect, Mubenga helped Buford win three consecutive state championships.
