Paul Letcher

1979 (Senior)
Letcher ended his Husker Career in 1979 by starting the first half of the season at left cornerback. He finished the season with nine tackles, including six unassisted tackles and broke up one pass. He helped Nebraska to a 10-2 finish and a Cotton Bowl appearance against Houston in 1979. 

1978 (Junior)
Paul Earned his first varsity letter as a junior, when he finished with four tackles, three unassisted and intercepted a pass. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and an appearance in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma.

1977 (Sophomore)
Paul was a reserve corner back during his sophomore season. Nebraska to a 10-2 finish and a Cotton Bowl appearance against Houston in 1979.

1976 (Redshirt)
Letcher redshirted his second season as a Husker. 

1975 (Freshman)
Paul saw playing time on the 1975 Husker team despite being a walk on. 

Lincoln Northeast High School
Paul was a two-year Honorable Mention All-City performer at halfback under Coach Bob Els. Paul was also a fine trackster, he was selected to the All City track team for three years. Paul was a business administration major and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Letcher.
