2018 (Redshirt)
Noah McCashland joined the Huskers during the 2018 season after earning a spot on the team through a walk-on tryout. He redshirted in 2018 and did not appear in a game.
Before Nebraska (Lincoln Pius X)
McCashland walked on at Nebraska after playing his prep ball for Lincoln Pius X, where he was the Thunderbolts' starting place-kicker. Following his senior season, McCashland was selected to participate in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl, and he accounted for the winning points for the South team with a 50-yard field goal midway rhough the fourth quarter. McCashland was also the goalkeeper for the Thunderbolts' soccer team and was a Lincoln Journal Star Class A honorable-mention all-state selection as a senior.
