    2000 Big 12 Commissioner's Spring Academic Honor Roll
  • 2000 (Sophomore)
    After recovering from knee surgery, Shook played in five games and had four pancakes, including a career-best two vs. Baylor and one vs. Texas Tech and Kansas.  Shook saw action in the Alamo Bowl. 
  • 1999 (Redshirt Freshman)
    Suffering a torn right ACL during fall camp, Shook had reconstructive surgery and did not play in 1999.  
  • 1998 (Freshman)
    A scholarship athlete, Shook redshirted in 1998.  
  • At Medina High School
    A three-year starter for Coach John Semenick at Medina High School, Shook earned first-team all-state honors as an offensive guard.  He was named to the Big 33 team that matches Ohio high school all-stars with Pennsylvania high school all-stars.  Shook played both sides of the ball as well as special teams.  Ohio Football Magazine listed him as the No.1 Offensive lineman to come out of Ohio in 1998.  A PrepStar All-American, Shook had 65 pancakes as a senior.  He also lettered in track, throwing the shot (best of 53 feet) and discus (155 feet).  Shook chose Nebraska over Miami of Ohio, but was also recruited by Pittsburgh, Wisconsin and Indiana.
