1979 (Senior)
LeRoy started his senior year for the Huskers at monster. He finished the season with 47 tackles, including 28 unassisted, six sacks for a loss of 22 yards, three fumble recoveries, four pass interceptions and four others broken up. For Mark's efforts on Sept. 22 against Iowa, he was named the Big Eight Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Against the Hawkeyes he had five tackles and in the fourth quarter, to stop Iowa scoring drives he forced a fumble and intercepted a pass. He helped Nebraska to a 10-2 finish and a Cotton Bowl appearance against Houston in 1979.

1978 (Junior)
In ‘78 Mark lettered as a junior while backing up Jim Pillen. He finished the year with 21 tackles, two sacks for a loss of nine yards, a fumble recovery, a pass interception and a pass broken up. He had his best effort of 1978 against Kansas, when he had five tackles, four unassisted, one stop behind the line for an eight yard loss and one pass broken up. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and an appearance in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma.

1977 (Clackamas Community College)
LeRoy played at Clackamas Community college under Coach Paul Gagnon in Oregon City, Oregon. 

Evergreen Senior High School (Seattle, Wash.)
Mark was a star performer at Evergreen Senior High School under Coach Gary Gagnon. Mark was enrolled in teachers college and is the son of Robert E. LeRoy.
