1989 (Senior)
Mark Hagge (pronounced HAG-ee) played in all 11 regular-season games for Nebraska as an alternate at strong-side linebacker behind Randall Jobman and Mike Petko as a senior in 1989. Hagge recorded a career-best 16 total tackles, including eight solos, while adding one quarterback hurry on the year. He was also one of Nebraska’s top players on special teams.

A two-year letterwinner, Hagge amassed 32 total tackles (20 solos) in his three-year career on the varsity while playing in 25 games.

1988 (Junior)
Hagge saw playing time in 10 of Nebraska’s 12 regular-season games and the Orange Bowl against Miami as a junior in 1988 to earn his first varsity letter. He finished the year with 15 tackles, including 11 solos. He recorded a season-high four tackles (all unassisted) in Nebraska’s 47-16 win over Arizona State.

1987 (Sophomore)
Hagge notched his first career tackle while playing in four games for the Huskers in 1987.

1986 (Freshman)
Hagge started at weakside linebacker for Nebraska’s 4-1 freshman team. He led the freshman with a team-high 48 tackles.

Omaha Creighton Prep High School
An all-state selection, Hagge was a two-time all-conference and All-Metro pick for Coach Tom Jaworski in 1985. Hagge also helped the Junior Jays capture the state title in 1984. He lettered three times in football, once in baseball and once in wrestling at Creighton Prep.

Personal
The son of Mike and Mary Hagge, Mark was born in Omaha. He was a human development major at Nebraska.
