Career
The walk-on from Omaha found playing time in his final two seasons as a Cornhusker and helped NU to three consecutive Orange Bowl games (’92-’94)

1993 (Senior)
After tearing a muscle in his chest and missing all of spring ball, Anderson hoped to recover in time for his senior season. Playing in five games, Anderson had 3 total tackles including one solo tackle against North Texas. He also had an assisted tackle against Iowa State.

1992 (Junior)
Anderson played in the first two games of the season until a sprained ankle ended his season. He recorded an assisted tackle against Middle Tennessee State.

1991 (Sophomore)
Anderson saw action at cornerback against Missouri, he had one assisted tackle against the Tigers.

1990 (Freshman)
Anderson did not play as a freshman walk-on.

Before Nebraska (Creighton Prep HS)
Anderson lettered twice at cornerback on two Tom Jaworski-coached state championship teams and was all-class, all-state as a senior in 1989. Anderson was a four year letter winner in track, he ran on three state championship 400-meter relay teams, and was third in the open 400 as a sophomore.

Personal
The son of Ola and George Anderson II, he was born June 28, 1971 in Omaha. His brother Eric lettered at Cornerback for the Huskers in 1989 and 1990. He studied speech pathology and graduated in May of 1993.
