1975 (Senior)
Three-year letterman for NU. Larry was the Huskers tight end starter for his senior season. As a senior Mushinskie caught 14 passes for 155 yards. Larry would play in the Fiesta Bowl loss against Arizona State 14-17. In that game Larry would catch one pass for nine yards.
1974 (Junior)
“Mush” would start at tight end for the Huskers in his junior season. Mushinskie would secure 11 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Larry would play in the Sugar Bowl win against Florida 13-10.
1973 (Sophomore)
No. 2 tight end during his sophomore year. Serving as a back-up behind Brent Longwell. Mushinskie would have limited playing time and would only catch four passes for 110 yards. He also had one rush for 13 yards.
1972 (Redshirt)
Larry Mushinskie would redshirt for the 1972 season.
1971 (Freshman)
Mushinskie would play for the 1971 frosh team at NU. Larry would be a standout player for the frosh team.
Personal
Son of Eugene and Margaret Mushinskie, Larry Mushinskie was born on Sept. 1, 1953, in Temple City, Calif. Mushinskie enrolled at NU as a business education major. After graduation from NU, Larry would be drafted in the 14th round to the Dallas Cowboys.
