1993 (Junior)
Emsick earned a varsity letter during the 1993 season. He appeared in four games for the Huskers, rushing twice for four yards. Emsick had a long rush of three yards against North Texas in a dominant Husker win (76-14). Emsick helped the Huskers to the 1994 Federal Express Orange Bowl National Championship game against Florida State.
1992 (Sophomore)
Emsick did not letter during the 1992 season. The Husker went 9-3 and finished the season with an appearance against Florida State in the Orange Bowl.
