Kurt Glathar Season 1982

1982 (Senior)
Kurt was one of the strongest and fastest members of the 1982 offensive line, he backed up starter Mike Mandelko but he still saw plenty of playing time and started against New Mexico State. 

1981 (Junior)
Glathar backed up NFL draft pick Tom Carlstrom and earned his first varsity letter. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and an appearance in the 1982 Orange Bowl-National Championship game against Clemson.  

1980 (Sophomore)
Kurt was an unlettered squad member as a sophomore. Nebraska finished the 1980 season with a 10-2 record and a 31-17 Sun Bowl win against Mississippi State. 

1979 (Redshirt)
Glathar redshirted his second season as a Husker.

1978 (Freshman)
Glathar started at offensive guard for the 5-0 Nebraska freshman football team. 

Lincoln High School
Kurt was an all-state and all-city performer for Coach Larry Frost. He also lettered in track and wrestling. 

Personal
Kurt was an industrial arts major and is the son of Dale and Murial Glathar.
