1982 (Senior)
Seibel was the most accurate extra point kicker in Nebraska history, Seibel wound up his career with the school record for PAT percentage (.968, 151 for 156). Seibel also had records for the most career PATs (151), points by a kicker in a season (82), and season PAT accuracy (.977).
1981 (Junior)
Kevin finished his junior season with a .977 PAT percentage, and was 3-10 for field goals with a long of 39 yards. Seibel was the fifth ranked scorer in the Big-Eight with 52 points. The Huskers scored 45 touchdowns and 11 field goals in 1981, but had only 29 kickoffs returned against them. He recovered a kick off fumble by Buster Rhymes to help put the Oklahoma game out of reach.
1980 (Sophomore)
Kevin was five of seven including a 52-yarder vs. Colorado and a 47-yarder vs. Oklahoma. Kevin was 48-50 on PATs and scored 63 points, and earned second team academic All-Big Eight.
1979 (Freshman)
Kevin was a former linebacker recruit. He was the first freshman kicker to ever play immediately at Nebraska. He also showed an ability to punt in the 1980 Sun Bowl where he averaged 42.0 yards per punt on eight attempts.
Vermillion High School
Seibel was an All-American for Coach Gary Oliver, he held the South Dakota prep record with a 53 yard field goal, He also lettered in basketball, wrestling and track and was the 1979 South Dakota prep athlete-of-the-year. Kevin is the son of Willie and Lois Seibel and was majoring in civil engineering.
