John Reinhardt Season 1984

1984 (Senior)

Reinhardt was a backup middle guard for most of his senior season. Reinhardt would record 11 tackles on the season with nine of them being unassisted. John’s top career game would come against Missouri in the Huskers’ 33-23 win, he was in on four tackles, three of those were unassisted. One of those tackles was for a loss of a yard which would set up a key safety.

1983 (Junior)

John was a lettered reserve during his junior year. John would appear sporadically throughout the regular-season surviving as a backup behind Ken Graeber and Ken Shead. John recorded two tackles, with two of those being unassisted and one for a loss of two yards.

1982 (Sophomore)

Reinhardt was a non-lettered squadman.

1981 (Redshirt) 

John Reinhardt would redshirt in his second season with the Huskers in 1981.

1980 (Freshman)

Reinhardt was a walk-on that served as an alternate middle guard behind Graeber on the 5-0 Huskers’ freshman team. 

Personal 

Son of Ed and Pat Reinhardt, John Reinhardt born on June 27, 1962, in Omaha Neb. John has a brother Ed, who was a standout receiver at Colorado before suffering a severe head injury. John enrolled at Nebraska as a mechanized agriculture major.
