1977 (Senior)
Jeff was slowed by numerous injuries as he shared starting duties at the middle guard position with Kerry Weinmaster. He finished with 13 tackles, three unassisted and two tackles for a loss of two yards. The Huskers finished with a 9-3 record and a Liberty Bowl win against North Carolina, 21-17.
1976 (Junior)
In ‘76, Pullen had 62 total tackles, second best total on the defensive line, and 29 unassisted stops. He led the team in sacks, 12 for a total loss of 38 yards, he recovered two fumbles and broke up one pass. Jeff was also a star in the classroom, where he earned 1976 Academic All-Big Eight honors with a 3.63 average. Jeff helped Nebraska finish the season with a 9-3-1 record and an Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl win over Texas Tech, 27-24.
1975 (Sophomore)
Jeff lettered as John Lee’s backup with 13 total tackles, 5 unassisted, one tackles for a loss of four yards and a fumble recovery. Pullen helped the Huskers finish the season with a 10-2 record and a Fiesta Bowl appearance against Arizona State.

Jeff was a standout with the 1973 freshman team.
Central City High School (Central City, Neb.)
Jeff was an All-State prep player under Coach Paul Wilson and is majoring in accounting. Jeff is the son of Bill and Betty Pullen.
