1981 (Senior)
Jeff earned All-Big Eight selection for the Huskers in his first year as a starter. He led the members of the defensive backfield in tackles with 63. He intercepted four passes to lead the squad. Krejci is one of the prime reasons Nebraska led the country in pass defense in 1981. Jeff also earned honorable mention All-American as a senior along with being named Nebraska Defensive Player-of-the Week twice. He finished the season with 63 tackles, 34 unassisted, one fumble recovery, four interceptions and six pass break ups. The Huskers finished the season with a 9-3 record and earned a berth in the National-Championship Orange Bowl against Miami.

1980 (Junior)
As a junior Krejci intercepted a pass against Oklahoma State and broke up another against Colorado. He finished the season with nine tackles as well. Nebraska finished the season with a Sun Bowl win against Mississippi State (31-17).

1979 (Sophomore)
Jeff earned playing time and a varsity letter his first year on the varsity. He recorded five unassisted tackles, one fumble recovered, one interception and broke up a pass. Nebraska finished the season with a 10-2 record and an appearance in the Cotton Bowl against Houston.

1978 (Redshirt)
Jeff redshirted his second season as a Husker. 

1977 (Freshman)
Jeff played for the 1977 Husker freshman team. 

Schuyler High School
Krejci was the Class B Defensive Player of the Year and a first team All State Class B quarterback. He also earned second team All State Class B basketball honors and lettered four years in track. He is the son of Ron and Dorothy Krejci.
