Before Nebraska (Irvington HS/Towson)
Jasin Shiggs spent two seasons at Towson before transferring to Nebraska. Shiggs played in 24 games with 12 starts in his two seasons, totaling 103 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions and two pass breakups.

Shiggs started all 12 games in 2025 and finished with 72 tackles, 0.5 TFLs, one interception and two pass breakups. He recorded at least three tackles in every game. In 2024, Shiggs played in 12 games and totaled 31 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one interception.

In high school, Shiggs was a two-way player for Irvington High School and Immaculate Conception. At Irvington, Shiggs was an All-New Jersey and Super Football Conference Freedom White All-Division first-team selection as a defensive back, and he also played wide receiver.
