2025 (Junior)
Jamir Conn has played in every game this season and has six tackles and one pass breakup. He recorded two tackles against Akron, including a half tackle for loss. Conn totaled four tackles against Houston Christian with a pass breakup. His play helped the Husker secondary hold each of the first three opponents to fewer than 100 passing yards, a first for the program since 1990.

Before Nebraska (Lee's Summit North HS/Southern Illinois)
Conn played two seasons at FCS Southern Illinois before transferring to Nebraska. In his two seasons as a Saluki, Conn played in 23 games with 11 starts and totaled 68 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, nine pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Conn recorded 11 tackles as a freshman in 2023 and added three pass breakups and one fumble recovery in 12 games. He moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore in 2024, starting 11 games and posting 57 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, six pass breakups and one forced fumble. Conn had at least five tackles in six of his 11 games.

Conn played his prep ball for Lee’s Summit North High School in Missouri. He helped his team to a state championship as a senior, when he was an all-state, all-conference and all-district selection. Conn played two seasons at Lee’s Summit after moving to Kansas City from Maryland.

Jamir is the son of Nafeesa Fajri and Corneal Conn. Jamir is a child, youth and family studies major.
