2010 Outlook
Jacob Smith had big-play ability as a wide receiver and kick returner at Omaha Skutt High School.

A 2009 Class B all-state pick by the Associated Press, Smith led the Skyhawks to a state runner-up finish behind 37 receptions for 705 yards. He had eight receiving touchdowns on the year, including a 94-yard strike in the first round of the 2009 playoffs. He also took an 82-yard kickoff to the end zone during the regular season. Smith had 11 touchdowns overall in addition to 108 rushing yards.

As a senior, Smith was also honorable-mention all-state in basketball.
