Gregg Reeves Season 1985

1985 (Senior)
Reeves had his first year as a starter abbreviated by three games due to injuries. Reeves missed the Illinois game when an old hamstring pull acted up, then he missed the Oklahoma State and Missouri games when he dislocated a shoulder and broke a hand against New Mexico. He still finished with 18 tackles, 15 of them unassisted. Gregg had a top tackle game of seven against Colorado. He also returned an interception eight yards vs. New Mexico. Gregg also recorded one sack for six yards and recovered a fumble. 

1984 (Junior)
Gregg was an alternate behind All-Big Eight right end Scott Strasburger, Reeves was in on 20 tackles in 1984, including nine unassisted stops and two quarterback sacks for 12 yards in losses. He also intercepted a pass and returned it 23 yards at Iowa State. Reeves had a season high in tackles with five in the season opener vs. Wyoming. 

1983 (Sophomore)
As a sophomore, Gregg recorded six tackles, three of them unassisted. 

1982 (Redshirt)
Reeves redshirted his second season at Nebraska. 

1981 (Freshman)
Walked on in 1981 out of Wahoo Neumann High School and was a reserve defensive end for the 5-0 Husker freshman team.

Reeves was an agriculture major and is the son of Wayne and Carlene Reeves.
