1982 (Senior)
Because of the Huskers' strong offense in 1982, Campbell didn't punt at all against Kansas State, only once against New Mexico State and Kansas and only twice vs. Auburn. Campbell's best day came against Auburn when he averaged 50.5 yards per punt. 

1981 (Junior)
Campbell earned Nebraska’s single season record holder for punting average 43.3 yards per punt, a mark that has since been surpassed. Campbell earned second-team All-Big Eight honors as a junior. Grant was a key factor in the Huskers' 6-0 win at Missouri, nailing five of seven punts inside the Missouri 15 yard line. Only 10 of Grant's 42 punts were returned for 84 yards, and 15 of those punts were downed or went out of bounds inside the opponent's 20 yard line. Campbell ranked 6th nationally in punt average at 43.3 yards per punt with an average of 40.7 net yards per punt. 

Ricks Junior College (Rexburg, Idaho)
Campbell averaged 48.6 yards per punt at Ricks Junior College. Grant was originally recruited by Brigham Young as a quarterback out of high school, but a shoulder injury ended his career with the Cougars. 

Half Moon Bay High School
Grant played quarterback in Southfield Michigan where he also lettered in basketball and baseball.

Grant was a business major and is the son of Roger and Jackie Campbell.
