1978 (Senior)
Lockett played split end and returned kickoffs and punts. In ‘78, he earned first team All-American Strength team honors and was drafted in the 10th round of the NFL by the Green Bay Packers. Frank finished the season with 18 punt returns for 132 yards, 13 kickoff returns for 244 and 12 receptions for 212 yards and two touchdowns. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and an appearance in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma.
1977 (Junior)
Lockett played split end, wingback and also returned punts and kickoffs. He returned 13 punts for 65 yards and nine kickoffs for 157 yards. He helped the Huskers finish with a 9-3 record and a Liberty Bowl win against North Carolina, 21-17.
1976 (Contra Costa Junior College)
Frank transferred to Nebraska from Contra Costa Junior college in San Pablo, California. He earned Junior College All-American honors under Coach Vince Maiorana. He led the nation's JC’s in punt return yards and he was also a solid junior college wrestler.
De Anza High School (Richmond, Calif.)
Frank earned All-American honors under Coach Vernon Cruess. He was majoring in physical education and is the son of Mamie Ebanks. Frank saw action in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins (1985) when he returned five punts for 23 yards.
