  • Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Spring 2013)

2013 (Redshirt Freshman)
Williams added depth at the quarterback position, but did not appear in a game.

2012 (Freshman)
Evan Williams redshirted his first season at Nebraska.

Before Nebraska (Archbishop Riordan HS)
Williams was a late add to Nebraska's 2012 freshman class, as he elected to walk-on with the Huskers in late spring. Williams was a two-year starter for Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco and after graduation, he spent one year at Tilton School, a prep school in Tilton, N.H. Williams was a three-time all-conference selection in high school and a two-time all-county honoree. He threw for nearly 2,000 yards and 15 touchdowns his junior season, throwing for nearly 200 yards per game. Archbishop Riordan switched to a veer offense his senior season, when Williams attempted only 81 passes in the run-oriented offense. Despite the limited opportunities, Williams threw for 532 yards and three touchdowns as a senior.
