1990 (Senior)
Eric Anderson earned his second varsity letter after playing six games for the Huskers at cornerback as a senior in 1990. He registered one solo tackle, which also went for a one-yard tackle for loss against Northern Illinois, while adding a breakup on the season. He helped the Blackshirts rank seventh nationally in scoring defense (13.4 ppg) and total defense (263.5 ypg).
Anderson played in 13 varsity games during his Nebraska career, totaling two solo tackles (1 TFL), one breakup and one fumble recovery.
1989 (Junior)
Anderson earned his first varsity letter while backing up Tahaun Lewis and Tyrone Legette at cornerback. Anderson played five games and notched a fumble recovery against Kansas State. He also played with the Husker JV team, recording three tackles and a pass breakup.
1988 (Sophomore)
Anderson served as a reserve corner for Coach Shane Thorell’s 5-0 Husker JV team. He totaled nine unassisted tackles, caused one fumble, recovered another and broke up a pass. He suited up for several varsity games and saw his first action against Utah State and UNLV. He was credited with one unassisted tackle for the varsity on the season.
1987 (Redshirt)
Anderson redshirted in his first season at Nebraska after transferring from NCAA Division II Wayne State College. He played as a freshman for the Wildcats in 1986.
Wayne State College
Anderson played in all 11 games for Wayne State as a freshman cornerback in 1986. He registered 49 total tackles (29 solos), broke up one pass, blocked a kick and had two fumble recoveries.
Omaha Central High School
Anderson played for Coach William Reed at Omaha Central High School alongside Husker teammates Curtis Cotton and Leodis Flowers.

The son of George and Ola Anderson, Eric was a speech communications major at Nebraska.
