Earl Everett Season 1977

1977 (Senior)
Everett appeared in one game his senior year. Recording one reception for four yards. 

The Huskers finished with a 9-3 record and a Liberty Bowl win against North Carolina, 21-17.

1976 (Junior)
Earl lettered as a wingback, backing up Dave Chamblin and Curtis Craig. He rushed seven times for 29 yards, caught one pass for 17 yards and returned two kickoffs for 45 yards. Everett helped Nebraska finish the season with a 9-3-1 record and an Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl win over Texas Tech, 27-24.

1975 (Hardship Year)
Everett had nagging injuries that slowed him down and was granted a hardship year. 

1974 (Sophomore)
Earl lettered as a quarterback in 1974, he completed five passes for 110 yards and a touchdown, to go with 193 rushing yards on 38 attempts. Everett helped the Huskers to a 9-3 record and a Sugar Bowl win over Florida, 13-10. 

1973 (Freshman)
Everett played quarterback for the 1973 varsity team as a freshman. Nebraska finished with a 9-2-1 record and an upset Cotton Bowl win over Texas (19-3).

Southeast High School (Kansas City, Mo.)
Earl earned All-City football under Coach Bill Myles. He was majoring in architecture major and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Spellman Shropshire.
