Before Nebraska (Central Catholic HS/Oregon State)
Dexter Foster played two seasons at Oregon State before transferring to Nebraska. In his two seasons as a Beaver, Foster played in 19 games with 11 starts, totaling 95 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and one pass breakup.
In 2025, Foster started all seven games he played and recorded 52 tackles, 3.0 TFLs and one pass breakup. He ranked fourth on the team in tackles despite playing only seven games. Foster had double-digit tackles twice in 2025, recording 11 tackles against both Texas Tech and App State. Foster played in 12 games with four starts as a freshman in 2024, finishing with 43 tackles, 2.0 TFLs and 1.0 sack. He had a career-high 13 tackles at Air Force.
Foster played his high school ball for Central Catholic in Oregon. As a senior, he totaled 49 tackles with 14.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, three pass breakups, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble and two blocked kicks. Foster helped his team to a 13-0 record and a state title as a senior.
