1987 (Senior)
Green was a letter winner during the 1987 season. He helped the Big Red to a 10-2 overall record and a trip to the 1988 Fiesta Bowl against Florida State. Nebraska ranked second nationally in total offense (489.0 ypg), while ranking third in the NCAA in rushing (373.5 ypg) and scoring (38.5 ppg).
1986 (Junior)
Green was a non-letterwinner during the 1986 season. Green helped the Huskers to an appearance in the 1987 USF&G Sugar Bowl, where they defeated LSU 30-15. Nebraska finished second nationally in rushing offense (305.5 ypg) and third in scoring (37.8 ppg).
1985 (Sophomore)
Green was a non-letterwinner in his sophomore season. Nebraska earned its fourth NCAA rushing title in a span of six seasons in 1985. The 6-1, 295-pound left tackle helped the Big Red to a nation-leading 374.3 rushing yards per game.
1984 (Redshirt)
Green redshirted the 1984 season.
Banning High School
Green was a first-team all-city selection and a key contributor on offense at Banning High School, where he played offensive tackle and guard on two Los Angeles City championship teams. Under coach Chris Ferragamo, he developed into a dominant presence on the offensive line, helping a championship-caliber program and earning recognition as one of the top linemen in the city.

Green was born in Los Angeles. He is the son of Stephanie Green and has one brother as well as twin sisters.
