1977 (Senior)
Curtis was an excellent rusher and pass receiver, Craig signed as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills. During his senior season he rushed for 342 yards on 45 attempts for a 7.6 average (Best on the team) and five touchdowns. Curtis also caught 13 passes for 173 yards and another touchdown. He helped the Huskers finish with a 9-3 record and a Liberty Bowl win against North Carolina, 21-17.

1976 (Junior)
Curtis teamed with senior Dave Shamblin to give Nebraska a potent one-two punch at wingback. Curtis caught seven passes for 71 yards and one touchdown, rushed for 107 yards on 30 carries and two scores, along with returning 13 kickoffs for 258 yards and a 19.8 average. Curtis threw a 49 yard wingback pass to Chuck Malito in the Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl, which helped the Huskers in their 27-24 win over Texas Tech. Craig helped Nebraska finish the season with a 9-3-1 record and an Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl win over Texas Tech, 27-24.

1975 (Sophomore)
Craig shared starting time with Tom Heiser, he finished with 34 attempts for 179 yards and two touchdowns. Craig was solid in the receiving game, catching 14 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. Craig covered most of the kickoff return duties, returning 11 kickoffs for 207 yards. As a sophomore, Curtis helped the Huskers finish the season with a 10-2 record and a Fiesta Bowl appearance against Arizona State.

1974 (Freshman)
Curtis played with the freshman and varsity team in 1974. He finished the season with one rushing attempt for 16 yards. 

Central High School (Davenport, Iowa)
Craig was a mulit-sport standout at Central High School where he won All-American and All-State football honors under Coach Jim Fox. Curtis was majoring in criminal justice and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Craig.
