1987 (Senior)
A letter winner in 1987, Hudson provided important depth at right tackle. Despite backing up Keven Lightner, he saw significant action throughout the season. Hudson helped lead the Huskers to a 10–2 record and an appearance in the Fiesta Bowl against Florida State. Hudson helped Nebraska’s offense ranked among the nation’s elite, finishing second in total offense at 489.0 yards per game, third in rushing at 373.5 yards per game, and third in scoring at 38.5 points per game.

1986 (Junior)
Hudson was a non-letter winner as he served as an alternate at tackle. He helped the Huskers reach the 1987 Sugar Bowl, where they defeated LSU Tigers football 30-15. Nebraska finished the year among the nation’s elite, ranking second in rushing offense at 305.5 yards per game and third in scoring at 37.8 points per game.

1985 (Sophomore)
Hudson was a non-letter winner varsity reserve during the 1985 season. During the season Nebraska captured its fourth NCAA rushing title in six years. The Big Red led the nation by averaging 374.3 rushing yards per game.

1984 (Redshirt)
Hudson redshirted in his second season at Nebraska. 

1983 (Freshman) 
Hudson played tackle for the Huskers freshman team. Helping them finish with a perfect 5-0 record. 

Hebron High School
Hudson was a standout athlete at Hebron High School, where he earned All-State and All-Conference honors as both an offensive and defensive tackle while playing for coach Lee Hill. In addition to football, Hudson also lettered in basketball and track.

Personal
Hudson is a physical education major. The son of Linda and Jim Hudson, he was born in Hebron, Nebraska, and has one sister.
