2018 (Redshirt)
Corbin Frederick gained valuable experience while sitting out the 2018 season as a redshirt in his first year at Nebraska.
Before Nebraska (Mansfield HS)
Frederick joined Nebraska from Mansfield High School in Texas, where he was a teammate of fellow freshman Cam'ron Jones. Frederick made 39 tackles as a senior in 2017, including 30 solo stops and 1.5 sacks, as he helped Mansfield to an 11-2 record. As a junior in 2016, Frederick racked up 65 tackles and intercepted two passes, while rushing for 239 yards on offense. He was voted a first-team all-district performer in 2016. Frederick chose to walk on at Nebraska over scholarship offers from Navy and San Diego and a preferred walk-on offer from Ole Miss.
