1976 (Senior)
Chuck caught 33 passes for 722 yards and five touchdowns in 1976, the most yards receiving of any Husker. Chuck set the Nebraska record for most yards receiving in one game when he had 166 yards receiving against Hawaii (now 6th all time). Chuck earned the Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl Most Valuable Lineman for his 107-yard performance against Texas Tech. Chuck helped Nebraska finish the season with a 9-3-1 record. 

Malito lettered seven times as a Husker, four times in track and three in football. 

1975 (Junior)
Chuck was Nebraska’s No. 2 receiver, catching 15 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns. The Huskers finished the season with a 10-2 record and a Fiesta Bowl appearance against Arizona State.

Chuck was a member of the Husker track team. He finished third in the Big Eight 400-meter intermediate hurdles. 

1974 (Sophomore)
In 1974, Chuck backed up Ritch Bahe and finished the season with 11 catches for 212 yards and two touchdowns. Nebraska finished the season with a 9-3 record and a Sugar Bowl win against Florida (13-10).

Chuck was the 1974 Big Eight conference outdoor 440 yard dash champion. 

1973 (Redshirt)
Malito redshirted his second season as a Husker. 

1972 (Freshman)
Chuck played for the ‘72 Husker freshman team. 

Lakewood High (Lakewood, Colorado)
Malito earned All-State football honors under Coach Don Osse. Chuck was majoring in physical education and is the son of Frank and Francis Malito.
