Brad Jenkins Season 1975

1975 (Senior)

Brad would back up Larry Mushinskie for two years, Brad had his best performance as a senior catching 12 passes for 153 yards and five touchdowns. Jenkins would play in the Fiesta Bowl loss against Arizona State. Jenkins would also be second in receiving touchdowns in the 1975 season behind Bobby Thomas.

1974 (Junior)

Standout No. 2 tight end behind Larry Mushinskie. Brad would have a good year, catching five passes for a TD and 100 yards. Jenkins would play in the win against Florida in the Sugar Bowl 13-10. Jenkins was part of the 1974 Husker’s Offense that put up 4532 yards in a season with an average 412.0.

1973 (Sophomore)

Jenkins wouldn’t record any stat during the 1973 season. Jenkins would appear in the Cotton Bowl win against Texas 19-3. Jenkins was also apart of the Nebraska offense that put up a total of 4356 yards with an average of 396.0.

1972 (Freshman)

Jenkins wouldn’t play any time on the NU Freshman team during his freshman season.

Son of Dale and Beverly Jenkins, Brad Jenkins was born on Feb. 9, 1953, in Ft. Collins, Colo. Jenkins enrolled at NU as a social science major.
