1993 (Senior)
A two-year letterman, Bart Furrow helped the Huskers capture three consecutive Big Eight titles over his final three years at Nebraska. As a reserve offensive guard as a senior in 1993, Furrow appeared in five games during the regular season, helping the unbeaten Big Red earn a trip to the 1993 Federal Express Orange Bowl national championship game against Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward and Florida State. Furrow helped Nebraska claim the Big Eight rushing title by averaging 287.9 yards per game on the ground, which ranked third nationally. The Big Red also ranked fifth nationally in scoring at 38.3 points per game.

1992 (Junior)
Furrow earned his first varsity letter after playing two games at nose tackle for the Big Eight champion Huskers in 1992. He recorded one solo tackle and one fumble recovery after making the switch from offensive line to defensive line in the fall of 1991.

1991 (Sophomore)
Furrow made the move from offensive guard to the defensive middle guard position during the season in 1991. The native of Fort Collins, Colo., appeared in one game against his hometown Colorado State Rams.

1990 (Redshirt)
Furrow redshirted in his second season at Nebraska.

1989 (Freshman)
A scholarship recruit, Furrow started at offensive right guard for the 3-1-1 Husker JV team as a true freshman in 1989.

Fort Collins High School
A two-time all-conference pick at both offensive and defensive tackle for Coach Tim Monty, Furrow led Fort Collins High School in tackles as a junior (75) and senior (122). He was an all-state offensive tackle as a senior, while earning second-team all-state honors as a defensive tackle. In his career, Furrow totaled nearly 200 tackles with seven sacks and two blocked punts. He was also a two-time all-state wrestler and lettered three times in rugby.

Personal
The son of Richard and Pam Furrow, Bart was born in Durango, Colo. A management major, Furrow graduated from Nebraska in May of 1994. He was a volunteer in the Teammates mentoring program.
