2025 (Freshman)
Archie Wilson has been Nebraska's starting punter this season despite never playing in a football game prior to this season. He has placed five of his 12 punts this season inside the opponent's 20-yard line.

Wilson was highly effective in his debut, placing three of his four punts inside the Cincinnati 15-yard line, with a pair of punts downed inside the 10-yard line. Wilson did not play against Akron as the Huskers did not punt in that game. He did see action against Houston Christian but did not punt as Nebraska went a second straight game without punting. Wilson punted four times against No. 21 Michigan and averaged 49.2 yards per punt. Two of his punts went for 50 yards or longer - including a career-long 56-yard punt - while only one of his punts was returned, a negative return of -1 yard. Wilson placed two of his four punts against Michigan State inside the 20-yard line, with one punt inside the 10-yard line.

Before Nebraska (Haileybury College)
Wilson joined Nebraska in the summer of 2025 from Australia. He played Australian Rules football for Haileybury College as a key defender. Wilson was a product of Prokick Australia, which has produced eight Ray Guy Award winners and had 29 punters awarded NFL or CFL contracts.
