1984 (Senior)
Thomas was a three-year letterman as a back up. Rarely saw time for his senior season serving as a back up to Dean Steinkuhler and Harry Grimminer.
1983 (Junior)
Thomas served as a reserve player for left guard and tackle for the spring. One of the biggest players on the Husker football team and one of the strongest as well. Thomas has a 425-pound bench press and a team leading effort of 960 pounds on the hip sled.
1982 (Sophomore)
Anthony did not have any regular-season appearances. Served as a third string most of the season.
1981 (Redshirt)
Anthony Thomas would redshirt in his second season with the Huskers in 1981
1980 (Freshman)
Anthony Thomas was a key starting guard for the Husker’s 5-0 freshman team in 1980.
Personal
Anthony Thomas was born on May 25, 1962, in San Francisco, Calif. Prep All-American and an All-Norther California selection at San Francisco’s Balboa High School where he played both offensive and defensive tackles. Thomas was also lettered in track as well. Thomas enrolled at Nebraska as a business administration major. Anthony Thomas' cousin, Woody Paige played cornerback for the Huskers from 1983-1985.
